2.
The
bidding will be conducted using the Bank’s open bidding procedures.
3.
Interested and eligible bidders are invited
to purchase and download the bidding document via https://extratenders.net/ and https://dashen.afrotender.com/ to access the biding document for by having paid Non-refundable fee ETB 500.00 (Five
Hundred Birr) or equivalent currency easily convertible in Ethiopian Birr for
each lot starting from October 27, 2025
up to November 26 ,2025 at 5:00 PM.
4.
To
participate in the bid, bidders are required to first register as a
supplier on the Bank’s SAP Ariba
Electronic Procurement system. You can complete your registration by

5.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain
further information from Dashen Bank S.C and check the bidding documents at the
address given below during the office hours (Monday to Friday 8:00-12:00 AM., 1:00-5:00 PM. and Saturday 8:00-12:00
A.M.), excluding public holiday.
6.
Bidders
must provide a bid security
for the specified amount (ETB 1,000,000.00 for each lot) or an
equivalent amount in a freely convertible foreign currency, calculated using
the selling exchange rate on the bid submission date. This security must be in
the form of an irrevocable and unconditional bank guarantee, cashier’s
payment order (CPO), or irrevocable and unconditional counter bank guarantee
for each lot, issued by an eligible Commercial Bank in Ethiopia. The bid
security must be valid for at least 150 days upon submission of the offer,
while the bid validity itself shall be 120 days.
7.
Bidders must submit their Technical and Financial
proposals in separate, sealed envelopes. In addition to the originals, duplicate
copies labeled "Original"
and "Copy" are required as
per the bidding document instructions. A soft copy of the technical proposal
should also be included. The original bid bond security must be in an
acceptable form, reference the specified bid and lot numbers, and be submitted
together with the separate technical proposal.
8.
The
sealed bid document for each lot shall be placed in the box prepared for this
purpose on November 26,2025, up to 5:00
PM EAT afternoon at the Supply Chain Management Department, Dashen Bank New
Head Quarter Building, 7th floor, in front of the National Bank of Ethiopia.
Electronic submission is not allowed, and late bids will automatically result
in rejection.
9.
Bids
shall be opened in the presence of the bidder’s or their legal representative
at Dashen Bank Head Quarter Building, 7th floor, Supply Chain Management
Department meeting hall Head Quarter Building, 7th floor, in front of the
National Bank of Ethiopia meeting hall on November
27, 2025 starting 2:00 PM Afternoon.
10.
Bidders are strongly encouraged to thoroughly
follow and adhere to the instructions and requirements outlined within the RFP
bidding document for each lot.
11.
The
Bank reserves the right to accept or reject the bid, either partially or fully.
