Procurement Title: Supply, Installation,
Implementation Commissioning, Maintenance & Training of Data Loss
Prevention (DLP) System.
1)
Dashen Bank S.C. (the Bank) intends to the intends to
implement a solution for the Supply, Installation,
Implementation, Commissioning, Maintenance & Training of Data Loss
Prevention (DLP) System. The vendor shall provide all required software
licenses, and supporting components necessary for the successful deployment of
the DLP system. Additionally, the solution must be delivered with a scalable
and high-availability architecture that meets Dashen Bank’s current operational
needs while accommodating future growth, technological advancements, and
evolving security requirements.
2)
The Bank now invites sealed bids from
interested, eligible, experienced, and qualified bidders to propose a solution
for the above captioned procurement.
3)
Bidding will be conducted using the Bank’s
open bidding procedures.
4)
Interested and eligible bidders are invited
to purchase and download the bidding document via https://extratenders.net/ and https://dashen.afrotender.com/.

500.00 (Five Hundred Birr) or equivalent currency easily convertible in
Ethiopian Birr starting from October 13,
2025 up to November 12 ,2025 at 5:00

required to first register as a supplier on the Bank’s SAP Ariba Electronic Procurement system. You can complete

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain
further information from Dashen Bank S.C at the address given below during the
office hours (Monday to Friday
8:00-12:00 AM., 1:00-5:00 PM. and Saturday 8:00-12:00 A.M.), excluding
public holiday.
7)
The bidders shall be
presented as a bid security for each lot in ETB 1,500,000.00 (Birr One Million Five Hundred Thousand only) or
an equivalent amount in a freely convertible foreign currency in the form of
Irrevocable and Unconditional Bank Guarantee or cashier’s payment order (CPO)
or Irrevocable and Unconditional Counter Bank Guarantee with one of eligible
commercial Banks in Ethiopia at least valid for 150 days upon submission of offer. At the same time, the bid
validity shall be 120 days.
8)
The sealed bid document shall be placed in
the box prepared for this purpose on November
12,2025, up to 5:00 PM EAT afternoon at the Supply Chain Management
Department, Dashen Bank New Head Quarter Building, 7th floor, in front of the
National Bank of Ethiopia. Electronic submission is not allowed, and late bids
will automatically result in rejection.
9)
Bids shall be opened in the presence of the
bidder’s or their legal representative at Dashen Bank Head Quarter Building,
7th floor, Supply Chain Management Department meeting hall Head Quarter
Building, 7th floor, in front of the National Bank of Ethiopia meeting hall on November 13, 2025 at 2: 00 PM Afternoon.
10) The
attention of prospective Bidders is drawn to (i) the fact that they will be
required to certify in their bids that all software should be covered by a
valid license or was produced by the Bidder and (ii) that violations are
considered fraud, which can result in ineligibility to be awarded contracts.
11) Bidders
are strongly encouraged to thoroughly follow and adhere to the instructions and
requirements outlined within the RFP bidding document.
12) Bidders
must bid for all items. Bids quoting for incomplete items (i.e. any missing
item and/or missing required quantities) shall be considered non-responsive and
will be disqualified.
13) The Bank
reserves the right to accept or reject the bid, either partially or fully.
